The software your box books, charges and programmes with is a decision for years: switching later costs time and your athletes' patience. We put together the prices each tool publishes on its website, as they stood on 8 November 2026, and what to check before you sign. We are an interested party (we make Wodmark), so we only include facts you can check yourself, with sources at the end.

Two warnings when reading the table. First, each tool counts differently: users, active athletes or members. A box with 60 people in the database and 45 who actually come pays different amounts depending on how each tool counts. Second, a plan with no fixed fee can turn out expensive: with 80 athletes paying €55 a month, 3.5% + €0.25 per payment is about €174 a month in fees.

What to check besides the price

  • How you collect. If your athletes pay by direct debit, check that the tool builds the SEPA file for your bank or collects it for you, and what each debit costs. If you take cash, Bizum or transfers, check that you can record them and that athletes see what they owe.
  • Fees on your dues. Some tools take a percentage of every payment that goes through them. Work it out in euros a month with your numbers.
  • Bookings for classes that fill up. Who gets in when everyone books at once: opening time, waitlist, whether there is a draw.
  • Set-up. Who imports your athletes and configures plans, schedule and payments, and whether they charge for it. WodBuster and Resawod do it at no charge; Trainingym charges for it; at Wodmark our team does it for free.
  • Your website and competitions. WodBuster includes a website for each box and has WodBuster Arena for competitions. Wodmark includes a website on your own domain, with six templates and a blog, but does not run competitions.
  • Programming and records. Whether athletes log weights and benchmarks in the same app or need another (SugarWOD and Strivee are programming apps without billing).
  • How you leave. That you can export athletes, dues and SEPA mandates. The mandates are yours, not the tool's.
  • Lock-in and yearly billing. Resawod says there is no lock-in; Trainingym bills yearly. Always ask in writing.

How to decide

  1. Count your athletes who actually come, not the ones in the database.
  2. Work out the total cost of a month with your numbers: the tool's fee plus payment fees.
  3. Try two tools with a small group of athletes before moving everyone.
