WodBuster is the go-to software for many boxes in Spain (its website says over 3,000 centres use it), and it is a good one. Still, there are reasons to look at others: per-user pricing, how you collect dues, how places are shared out in classes that fill up, or simply wanting a different app for your athletes. These are the alternatives that publish their price or are used in Spain, with data as of 8 November 2026.
The alternatives, one by one
Resawod. Built for boxes and studios. It has a plan with no fixed fee (PayG) that charges €0.25 + 3.5% per payment, and flat rates of €72 (up to 100 active athletes), €99 and €115 a month. It says there is no lock-in.
Aimharder. Spanish and focused on boxes and functional training. It does not publish a price on its website: ask for a written quote and ask about payment fees.
Trainingym. Spanish, for gyms and centres. Básico €199 and Pro €319 a month up to 500 members, billed yearly, with a compulsory set-up of €99, €265 or €580.
PushPress. American, with a free plan that charges 4.99% + $0.30 per card payment, and plans at $159 and $229 a month. Prices in dollars; outside the United States it asks you to contact sales, and its pricing page does not mention SEPA direct debit.
Wodify. American and well known among boxes. It does not publish a price on its website.
Wodmark. Ours: free up to 10 active athletes and €29, €39 or €49 a month by band, with no commission on your dues. Our team sets you up for free, and it includes a website on your own domain, with six templates and a blog. We compare it with WodBuster band by band in Wodmark vs WodBuster.
Before you switch, check this
- Your direct debits. SEPA mandates belong to the box, not to the software, so they stay valid. Export each athlete's details from WodBuster (IBAN, mandate reference and signing date) before you cancel. We explain it in how to switch software without losing direct debits.
- Competitions. WodBuster Arena handles registration, qualifiers and finals with live scoring; internal competitions are free, private ones cost €9 a month and public ones €150 a month. If your box uses it, check that the alternative covers it: Wodmark does not run competitions.
- Your website. WodBuster includes a website for each box. If yours is that one, plan where it will live afterwards; with Wodmark you can point your domain at the box's website.
- Set-up. Ask who imports your athletes and configures plans and schedule, and whether they charge for it.
- Switch day. Pick a day between two collections so nobody pays twice, and tell your athletes about the new app in good time.
How to decide
- List what your box cannot do without.
- Work out a month's cost with your active athletes and the way you collect, fees included.
- Try it with a small group of athletes before moving everyone.
